The West Midlands region’s 3rd Children’s Council took place on Thursday 1st June with 6 children aged between 12 – 15 in attendance. As a reward for their hard work and feedback the group moved on to let off a bit of steam at Ice Quest laser quest centre!

Skye, one of our foster children in the West Midlands, was recently presented with a brand new iPad Air 2 for winning an internet safety themed competition organised by Guardian Saints and sponsored by BT to celebrate Internet Safety Day.

BBC Radio Leeds' Andrew Edwards was talking about fostering on his 'Big Yorkshire Phone In' show yesterday, and he invited our very own Granville Orange to respond to the questions "Is it too difficult to foster children? Is the process of becoming a foster carer too off-putting?"

Foster carers and children braved new heights at our Clip N Climb activity day on 21st April in Maryport, conquering skyscraper, light up checkerboard walls, speed climbing challenges and the Leap of Faith.

A group of foster children and birth children from our Yorkshire offices in Doncaster and Beverley took on a gruelling 22 challenge assault course and climbing wall on our activity day in York over half term.

Put them behind the wheel at a Young Driver driving school, like 16 of our tweens and teens did last weekend when they attended our third Young Drivers event at the NEC in Birmingham, an activity which is proving to be a very firm favourite with our older children!
