We are delighted to welcome Karen Gill-Rummens to the Family Fostercare family as Manager (registration pending) of our Yorkshire branch, based in Beverley.
She brings with her nearly 20 years' experience, excellent links with local authorities in the region and a proven track record in leading fostering teams to the highest standards.
Karen's professional ethos is a perfect fit with Family Fostercare's brand values. She places a great deal of importance on ongoing training for staff and for fosters and she has developed core training packages herself as well as establishing links with local specialist trainers.
Her managerial and practitioner experience will be an absolute asset to Family Fostercare. Her ethos of getting to understand the individual and specific strengths of foster carers will further promote, endorse and match foster carers skills and experience to placement planning for looked after children.
