Dudley Office Warming

Our festive office warming in Dudley was a real success!

We had a fantastic turnout of staff, prospective foster carers and foster carers from around the area joining us for coffee, mince pies and - the star of the show - Lynsey's homemade gingerbread Christmas trees!

It was a great opportunity for our new foster carer applicants in various stages of the application process - from first stage fact-finding through to those who have already completed their training - to meet with our staff and, more importantly, some of our experienced foster carers and to get a real, first-hand experience of our family orientated fostering service.

It was lovely to get the whole Family Fostercare West Midlands team together, and we were really pleased that FFC Director, Martin Rae was able to join us too.

We had great feedback on the relaxed but professional feeling of the office, and everyone said it was a warm and welcoming environment. Grandad Day Care was provided by two of our foster carers who were on hand with bottles at the ready!:

We're planning lots more coffee mornings in 2016, so if you are interested in finding out more about fostering children, or know someone who is, keep an eye on our events page or check in with us on Facebook every now and then to find out when the next event is scheduled. In the meantime, if you'd like to come and see us sooner, please feel free to call in - our Dudley office is now well and truly established and a warm, Family Fostercare welcome is always guaranteed!
