Hi, my name is Nicole Wayman. I am a qualified social worker and I started with Family Fostercare in September 2016. Prior to this, I worked for another independent fostering agency where my role included recruiting, assessing, supporting and supervising foster carers.

When I initially started out training to be a social worker, I always wanted to work with children and families. My parents are foster carers themselves, so I have been brought up within a fostering family, and because of that I feel that I can bring a special kind of insight and empathy to my role in assessing and supporting foster carers' skills development.

As a social worker, I enjoy building positive relationships with foster carers, their own families and looked after children. I am extremely passionate about the work I do and I am very excited about working as part of the Family Fostercare team in Doncaster.
